SheetCam gives you many options to optimise cutting. Once you have defined you tool you can set up the cut. You can define as many tools as you like for different materials etc. The tool definition allows you define all of the important parameters for cutting. This is useful for machines running Mach3 for instance. I have used this to remove things I forgot to remove from the drawing I saved. As long as the layer of layers are unchecked they will not be in the plan or the G-code when you post process the plan. If you add more to that layer name they will disappear when you add them to that named layer. There is a small box with a check in it next to the new name, uncheck that check and the line will disappear. Then it will put that new name in the "Layers" box. Another trick I have used in SheetCam to remove things I don't want, using the contour function move the mouse to the line you don't want and click on it.
